Transit Visa

Transit Visa

This is a 4-day (96-hour) permit and applies to passengers passing through UAE airports. Te visa is issued by sponsorship of an airline operating in the UAE, especially Emirates Airlines or contacting a transit service.

A transit visa can only be issued if a tourist has a valid ticket for an onward flight. Regularly, the cost of issuing of a transit visa is zero. Visitors just have to fill out an entry permit application form and carry a copy of the sponsored passport.

Entry Service Permit

It is a non-renewable 14-day visa and applies to: company managerís representatives, sales managers, account auditors, delegations from companies or establishments and their families to carry out an important commercial activity or an urgent task in the UAE, requested by any of the establishments/companies operating in the country.

This visa is also availed to nationalities authorized to obtain a tourist visa, as per the Ministerial Council's resolution. The Entry Service Permit holder may enter and depart the UAE through any airport.

To complete the application, the sponsor needs the visitor's date of arrival and flight details, and a photocopy of his/her valid passport. This type of entry permit can be issued as urgent at a fee of Dhs. 220 (US$ 60).

Multiple-Entry Visa

It is availed to business visitors who have a relationship with either a multinational or other reputable local companies, and who are constantly visiting to the UAE.

This type of visa is valid for 6 months from the date of issue and the duration of each stay is 30 days. Its validity is non-renewable and the fee is Dhs. 1,000 (US$ 272). Visitors from Germany and the United States have has special privileges.

To obtain the multiple-entry visa, individuals have to enter the UAE on a visit visa and obtain the permit while in the country. The visa would be stamped at the passport.
